Restaurant next to Madison Square Park, just a few steps away from the Flatiron Building and very close to the Empire State. There are two other locations that you can look for in their website.

It's curious the method to order. They give you a number that you put on the table and when you order is ready they bring it to you, or if it’s ready on the bar you can go pick it up, because it has your number put in there.  

Es curioso el método para pedir. Te dan un número que colocas encima de la mesa y cuando esta el pedido te lo acercan, o si esta preparado en la barra vas a por el, porque tiene tu número puesto. 

About the menu, everything is of high quality, we ate the best burgers in New York, which is saying a lot, and for our taste, the best burger we have ever tasted, the green chile cheeseburger. The blue cheese burger is also very good, or any other. The fries are purchased separately, but don’t let that stop you from ordering them. 

Chicken fingers for children (or for all). The dish is to share. 

What else do we recommend? The tuna sandwich, salad with goat cheese (there are a dozen different salads). We didn't try the shakes or mac and cheese, but they looked good... 

About the beverage, soft drinks can be refilled and there are various beers. Ask for a Samuel Adams. The bad thing is that they don’t serve it  too cold. By the way, the water in New York tastes good, and they also have pitchers at your disposal, in case you want to save money. 

En cuanto a la carta, todo de gran calidad, comimos las mejores hamburguesas de Nueva York, lo cual es mucho decir y, para nuestro gusto, la mejor hamburguesa que hemos probado nunca, la green chile cheeseburger. También muy buena la blue cheese burger o cualquier otra . Las patatas fritas se compran aparte, pero no las dejéis de pedir.
Fingers de pollo para los niños (o para todos). La ración es para compartir.
¿Qué más recomendamos? El sandwich de atún, la ensalada de queso de cabra (hay una docena de ensaladas distintas). No probamos los batidos o los macarrones con queso, pero tenían buena pinta...

Sobre la bebida, los refrescos se pueden rellenar indefinidamente, y hay cervezas variadas. Pedid una Samuel Adams. Lo malo es que no la ponen demasiado fría. Por cierto, el agua en Nueva York sabe bien, y tienen jarras a tu disposición, por si queréis ahorrar.

We add the menu and we recommend it as it can't be better situated, and hope you leave as satisfied as us. We went there again and we were looking forward to to going more often. 

About the service, we can't put any objection. They go fast, but in New York everything goes very fast.

Os añadimos  la carta y os lo recomendamos dado que no puede estar mejor situado, y esperamos que salgáis tan satisfechos como nosotros. Repetimos y nos quedamos con ganas de más.

En cuanto a la atención, nada que objetar. Van deprisa, pero en Nueva York todo va muy rápido.

Another restaurant very recommended from the traveler Nira, this time near the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park, so it's ideal for lunch after the visit. They have locations in different places of the city, that you can look for in their website.

Otro restaurante más recomendado por la viajera Nira, en este caso cerca del Museo de Historia Natural y de Central Park, por lo que es ideal para comer después de visitarlos.

Have in mind that when you order the dishes are to share. They are served in large fonts and can perfectly be for three people. 

Tened en cuenta cuando pidáis que las raciones son para compartir. Se sirven en fuentes grandes que bien pueden ser para tres personas. 

Salads, pasta (the famous spaguetti with meatballs), chicken, scallops and, of course, desserts like tiramisu or chocolate cannoli, a kind of cruchy tubes filled with chocolate.

Ensaladas, pastas (los famosos espaguetis con albóndigas), pollo, escalopines y, por supuesto, postres como tiramisú o chocolate cannoli, una especie de tubos crujientes rellenos de chocolate.

We add part of the menu and we recommend it because it's situated in a great spot and you eat really good, known for traditional and homemade dishes , and really well attended.

Os añadimos parte de la carta y os lo recomendamos dado que esta situado inmejorablemente y se come muy bien, cocinados los platos al estilo familiar, y siempre muy bien atendidos.

As Meg Ryan's fans we couldn't stop publishing the famous restaurant in New York where one of the most famous scenes of her movie "When Harry met Sally" takes place, with the great Billy Cristal.

Como fans de Meg Ryan no podíamos dejar de publicar el famoso restaurante
de New York donde transcurre una de las escenas más conocidas de su película
"Cuando Harry encontró a Sally", acompañada por un genial Billy Cristal. 

Its location in the Lower East Side makes us go just there because it's not in the touristic zone, and we've to add the lines and the difficulties to get a table. Even then, you can't miss it.

Su ubicación en el Lower East Side hace que tengamos que ir expresamente
dado que está no es una zona turística, a lo que hay que añadir las colas y la
dificultad para conseguir mesa. Aún así, no hay que perdérselo.

Established in 1888, it's one of the oldest of the city. Its facase, as you can see on the picture, doesn't really make us look at it, but the interior it's full of pictures of famous people who have been there.

Establecido en 1888, es uno de los más antiguos de la ciudad.
Su fachada, como podéis ver en la foto superior, no llama la atención, pero
el interior esta llenos de fotos de famosos que han pasado por allí.

 

When you go in, they give you a ticket where they take your order and you pay when you go out. The principal speciality is the pastrami sanwich -Katz's pastrami-, beef's spicy meat with a side of pickles and the Katz's corned beef, although there are also hamburgers and hot dogs, and all of that goes with french fries. The prize of each sandwich is about $17, but the quantities, as you can see, are huge.

Al entrar te dan un ticket donde te apuntan lo que pides y pagas a la salida.
La especialidad principal es el sandwich de pastrami - Katz's pastrami -, carne
de ternera especiada acompañada de pepinillos y el Katz's corned beef, aunque
también tienen hamburguesas y perritos, todo ello acompañado con una buena
ración de patatas fritas.
El precio de cada sandwich ronda los 17 dolares, pero
las cantidades, como podéis ver, son tremendas.

In relation to schedules, you won't have any problem. In the weekend it's opened without interruption from Friday at 8:00 a.m. until Sunday at 10:45p.m.

En cuanto a horarios, no tendréis ningún problema. El fín de semana esta
abierto sin interrupción desde el viernes a las 08:00 hasta el domingo a las 22:45.
